PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This product is a stable, pumpable, lead-free, polyurethane-free high-concentration pigment dispersion, suitable for non-aqueous marine and protective coatings. It is formulated with a broadly compatible resin system and weather-resistant pigments.

2 RECOMMENDED USE

The colorants are compatible with the following solvent based paint systems:

• Short to Medium Oil Alkyds

• Two Pack Urethane

• Two Pack Epoxy

• Vinyl

• Vinyl Acrylic

• Chlorinated Rubber

• Acrylics, single and two pack

The colorants may also be compatible with other than the above mentioned paint systems.

Maximum addition to paint depends on the paint system, so there is no general rule. In most cases the colorants give little or no detrimental effect up to 5 % by weight for the organic pigments and 15 % for the inorganic pigments.

3 COMPLIED STANDARDS

Complies with the standard Q/370883SBQ 046-2024 “Industrial Automatic Color-Tuning Paste”

4 DIRECTION FOR USE

Detailed instructions for use with dispensing machines etc.: See separate manual.

Products shall be used only in combination with other Puntium products and tinted using Puntium approved tinting machines and software. Never dilute or add substances of any kind to the colorants as this will cause colour deviation.

Shake cans for 1 min in a paint shaker before emptying to ensure homogeneity and minimum waste for the following colorants

Never shake partly filled cans in paint shaker as this may mix air into the colorant and cause reduced colour strength.

4 STORAGE

Store in dry, cool conditions, and away from sources of heat & ignition. Containers must be kept tightly closed.

5 CAUTIONS

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The following measures shall be ensured in all paint applications:
Avoid skin and eye contact.
If paint comes into contact with skin, wash with warm water and/or suitable cleanser. If paint comes into contact with the eyes, flush with copious amount of water and seek immediate medical attention.
Ensure good ventilation. Avoid inhalation of spray mist or vapour.
Application and handling of this product should be in compliance with relevant national regulations. Detail information is given on SDS.
