Polysiloxane coating
1 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A two-component chemical-curing polysiloxane coating, which is free of isocyanate, exhibits high surface gloss and excellent light retention properties.
2 RECOMMENDED USE
Recommended for offshore environments such as refineries, power plants, bridges, and buildings. Used as a topcoat for long-term corrosion protection.
3 FEATURES
- Excellent light and color retention.
- Good resistance to crude oil and seawater.
- The absence of isocyanate compounds significantly enhances the LEED environmental quality certification.
4 COMPLIED STANDARDS
Complies with the standard HG/T 4755-2014 “Polydimethylsiloxane Coatings”.

Applied substrate:
Bare steel or suitable primed surface.
Coating system:
Epoxy primer or according to the coating system PUNTIUM
7 SURFACE PREPARATION
- Remove salt and other water-soluble contaminants by fresh water.
- Remove oil and grease with suitable detergent or solvent(SSPC-SP 1).
- Remove rust, mill-scale and other foreign materials completely by abrasive blasting to achieve ISO Sa2 1/2(SSPC-SP 10) or better.
- All coated surface must be clean, dry and free from any dust.
8 STORAGE
Store in dry, cool conditions, and away from sources of heat & ignition. Containers must be kept tightly closed.
Shelf life: 6 months/25℃
Shelf life：Subject to re-inspection thereafter.
9 CAUTIONS
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The following measures shall be ensured in all paint applications:
Avoid skin and eye contact.
If paint comes into contact with skin, wash with warm water and/or suitable cleanser. If paint comes into contact with the eyes, flush with copious amount of water and seek immediate medical attention.
Ensure good ventilation. Avoid inhalation of spray mist or vapour.
