Acrylic modified alkyd primer
1 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This product is a one-component coating composed of acrylic modified alkyd resin, pigments, additives and solvents.
2 RECOMMENDED USE
Applicable to steel surfaces of construction machinery, steel equipment, steel structures and pipelines as a rust-preventive primer.

7 SURFACE PREPARATION
- Remove salt and other water-soluble contaminants with fresh water.
- Remove oil and grease with suitable detergent or solvent in accordance with SSPC-SP 1.
- Remove rust, mill scale and other foreign materials completely by abrasive blasting to achieve ISO Sa 2½ (SSPC-SP 10) or better.
- All coated surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust.
8 STORAGE
| Storage | Store in dry, cool conditions away from heat and ignition sources. Containers must be kept tightly closed. |
| Shelf Life | 12 months at 25℃. Subject to re-inspection thereafter. |
9 CAUTIONS
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The following measures shall be ensured in all paint applications:
- Avoid skin and eye contact.
- If paint comes into contact with skin, wash with warm water and/or a suitable cleanser. If paint comes into contact with the eyes, flush with copious amounts of water and seek immediate medical attention.
- Ensure good ventilation. Avoid inhalation of spray mist or vapour.
- Application and handling should comply with relevant national regulations. Detailed information is given in the SDS.
