Waterborne rust conversion primer
1 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
It is made from polymer film-forming resin, rust conversion agent, surface activator, binder and various additives.
2 RECOMMENDED USE
Widely used on rusted steel substrates for steel structures, bridges, port machinery, power plants, steel mills, chemical plants, containers, hydraulic steel gates, dry gas cabinets, storage tanks and vehicles requiring decorative appearance and strong protection.

7 SURFACE PREPARATION
- Remove salt and other water-soluble contaminants with fresh water.
- Remove oil and grease with suitable detergent or solvent in accordance with SSPC-SP 1.
- Remove rust, mill scale and other foreign materials completely by abrasive blasting to achieve ISO Sa 2½ (SSPC-SP 10) or better.
- All coated surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust.
8 STORAGE
| Storage | Store in dry, cool conditions away from sources of heat and ignition. Containers must be kept tightly closed. |
| Shelf Life | 6 months at 25℃. Subject to re-inspection thereafter. |
9 CAUTIONS
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The following measures shall be ensured in all paint applications:
- Avoid skin and eye contact.
- If paint comes into contact with skin, wash with warm water and/or a suitable cleanser. If paint comes into contact with the eyes, flush with copious amounts of water and seek immediate medical attention.
- Ensure good ventilation. Avoid inhalation of spray mist or vapour.
- Application and handling of this product should comply with relevant national regulations. Detailed information is given in the SDS.
